Sam's Burger Deli

Had an excellent time there! Great service and atmosphere! They were very welcoming with a tired toddler as well! The food was excellent! If you like a little spice would recommend the Sam’s spicy fries! We also enjoyed the fried mushrooms, which were a little different than we have ever had them. I had the Philly and my husband had the double cheeseburger. My toddler had the pepperoni pizza. We left with happy bellies!

The food was very good. The onion rings were amazing!! They had a vanilla porter that was good as well. The planes on the outside of the building give it a distinct appearance. My husband and I will be going back.

Stopped after many trips driving by. We will make this a regular from now on! Loved the theme and the focus on veterans. Owner is from near where I grew up and food is absolutely amazing! Thanks!

I came from out of town to hunt Berry College WMA, and man am I glad I came across this place. Small town feel. Amazing friendly service. The Brunswick stew was literally the best I’ve had and I’m not just saying that. I got the stew, a side, couple beers, and itwas 16 bucks? Definitely not bad. If I’m ever in town again this is where I’m coming!

This spot is a fun surprise—yes, you literally walk through an airplane to get in! The food was solid overall. We ordered a juicy burger with crispy tots, and a Beef Philly with Crispy Onion rings. The service was very friendly and fast. What really sets Sam’s apart is the heart—walls covered in veteran tributes and a proud Purple Heart designation. It’s more than a meal; it’s a meaningful experience. Definitely worth a stop!

Great Philly cheese and fantastic homemade onion rings. Wife's burger and tots were also good. Will come back! The Purple Heart Walls are a great idea for honoring our soldiers.

We were on the fly trying to find a place since we didn't know the area and I saw the outside had a plane and thought, you only live once, let's check it out! It also showed on Google that they had the best Burger in town so that's what my daughter and I ordered. The burgers were perfect, and tasted super fresh. We got both the fries and the onion rings. The onion rings were honestly the best I've ever had and my daughter compared the fries to crispy shoe string style and loved them. The service was very friendly and fast. We went for a late lunch and it was not busy. They do have a lot of seating as well as outdoor seating. The plane/veteran vibe was quaint and I believe the owner may have made rounds to ensure everyone in the restaurant enjoyed their meal. And yes, the restroom was clean and orderly...a big must in my book. If we are ever in the area again, I'll so in again for sure!

Great experience at Sam's Deli ~Hannah~! I was in town for work for a couple days and decided to stop in — so glad I did. Our waitress Hannah was friendly, attentive, and beautiful a...f... — she truly made the whole meal enjoyable. You could tell she really knows what she's doing; apparently she's been there for 8 years and it shows. She was on top of everything and remembered every detail of our order, and had a warmth that made the whole experience feel welcoming (Even as a Ford fan ). Honestly, She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my visit, and that kind of dedication is hard to find. Honestly, she's the kind of employee that keeps customers coming back, and if management is reading this — she deserves a raise! The food was delicious and came out quickly. Will definitely come back and recommend Sam's Deli to anyone looking for a great meal with excellent service!
